A Bit About Me

My Story

My name is Audrey Balmain and for the last 17 years I have been working in the telecoms industry with my most recent role being Marketing/Digital Media Specialist and Designer.

My role sees me doing varying task from maintaining the company Wordpress website and social media platforms, producing all customer facing documents, producing mockups of UI design to help our development team and creating marketing videos/infographics for our products, along with other tasks.

Creative work has always been a hobby for me and my spare time used to be spent doing sports/events photography (MMA, paintball and your great aunts silver wedding anniversary) and I quickly became proficient using Photoshop. Recently that extended to digital art, graphic design and website design/development. I can now say I also proficient in Affinity and Adobe packages.

My most recent achievement was completing the Career Foundry UI course and I can now say I am officially a UI designer.

I like to unwind by going to watch my favourite football team on a Saturday afternoon, going to gigs or spending time with friends. I can also be found streaming on Twitch as I am a massive girl gamer!
